New Era Project is the public-facing name of PROSPORT LIMITED, a United States 501(c)(3) public charity. This page is the legal and operational picture Google, donors, and families should be able to find in one place.
Legal identity
Legal name: PROSPORT LIMITED. Doing business as: New Era Project. Employer Identification Number: 32-0745230. The Internal Revenue Service recognized the organization as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(2). Determination Letter 947 is dated January 14, 2026. Tax-exempt status is effective December 30, 2025.
We are not a private foundation. Public charity status under 509(a)(2) means support comes from a mix of gifts and program activity that serves the charitable class — youth athletes — rather than from a small group of insiders. Donors can verify the EIN on IRS records and should use that number on any grant, matching-gift, or tax form.

How we relate to the academy
Kids train at ProSport MMA Academy on the same street. The academy is a training facility with its own class schedule and its own billing. PROSPORT LIMITED does not collect academy membership dues on this website and does not publish a commercial price list here. When this charity pays for training, it is a scholarship or hardship grant for a named need, not a sale of a membership plan to the public.
That split matters. Families who can pay train through the academy. Families who cannot pay can ask this charity for help. Donors who want the gym schedule should use the academy site. Donors who want to fund a child should stay on this site. Mixing those two jobs on one commercial homepage is what made our earlier Google Ad Grants review fail: a visitor could not tell whether they had landed on a nonprofit or a paid gym.
Mission and vision in practice
Mission: remove financial and family barriers so youth athletes can train, compete, and grow through martial arts — with discipline, character, and real-world results. In daily language that means a kid who belongs on the team is not cut because the household ran out of cash in October.
Vision: a serious place to live, study, train, and compete — a university of sport rather than a drop-in class. We are not claiming a boarding campus exists today. Coach sessions with athletes, parents, and families are the first layer of that culture: one plan for the child, one plan for the sideline, one plan for the household. The long-term picture is a structured academy for gifted kids; the present picture is Reseda, a wrestling club, BJJ and MMA youth classes, and an athlete fund that pays real bills.
Who we serve
Primary service area: Reseda, Northridge, Van Nuys, Tarzana, and nearby San Fernando Valley communities. Ages are youth — children and teenagers in wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and mixed martial arts. We prioritize athletes who already compete or who are ready to compete, because competition costs (travel, hotels, registrations, extra gear) are where families break first. Beginners who cannot enter the sport at all because of cost are also eligible for training support when funds allow.
We do not discriminate in charitable aid on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, or disability. Aid decisions are based on demonstrated need, athletic commitment, and available funds. We do not sell placements. A donation never buys a roster spot or a medal.
Governance and money
Gifts are received by PROSPORT LIMITED. They are used for the charitable purposes described on our Programs and Impact pages: athlete training support, equipment, competition travel, and related youth development. We do not host Google AdSense, affiliate storefronts, or third-party advertising on this site. Limited commercial activity belongs on the academy site, not here.
For IRS purposes, keep your donation receipt. For questions about a matching gift, a DAF, a check, or a wire, use the contact page. We will not invent impact statistics; when we publish numbers they will come from books we can show, not from marketing copy.
